2025 Toyota LandCruiser Prado: ARB off-road accessories unveiled

Nov 07, 2024 by admin

The Toyota LandCruiser Prado is weeks away from rolling into customer’s driveways around Australia, and now ARB has revealed its range of accessories for the SUV.

Sold in the US as the LandCruiser 250 Series – as our full-size LandCruiser 300 Series isn’t available there – the Prado has been kitted out by ARB for this year’s SEMA trade show, currently taking place in Las Vegas.

This example is fitted with the Australian accessories manufacturer’s Summit MkII front bumper, which incorporates a Warn Zeon 10S winch, Summit side rails and steps, as well as the specialists’ own Intensity IQ smart lighting.

Its chunky appearance is aided by a set of 17-inch Method MRW 703 beadlock wheels which are shod in 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler mud-terrain tyres.

Under the skin, there’s Old Man Emu’s BP-51 bypass dampers to help keep the loaded Prado steady off road, while a new set of upper control arms also appear to have been fitted.

The external changes continue with an ARB base rack, measuring 72×45 inches (1829x1143mm), an eight-foot (2.44m) black aluminium awning and Nacho quatro lights.

Inside, the Prado has been kitted with all the touring accessories a family could need, such as a 96-litre ARB Zero Fridge Freezer, a twin air compressor and a LINX accessory interface plus pressure control kit.

Unfortunately, Australia doesn’t get the factory-fitted round headlights as seen on this 250 Series, with all locally sold examples featuring rectangular units.

It’s unclear if all of these ARB accessories will be offered in Australia or how they’ll be priced.

ARB’s Prado isn’t the only 250 Series on display at SEMA, with Toyota unveiling the Calty Land Cruiser Rox earlier this week, which saw the SUV’s rear roof section removed to create a ute.

The new LandCruiser Prado is due to arrive in Australia by the end of 2024, with prices starting from $72,500 before on-road costs for the GX – a $9670 increase compared to the outgoing 150 Series.
